The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board has some excellent information and resources on bullying listed on its website. Click here to access.
This document, Cyberbullying, has some good tips on dealing with this specific type of bullying. It comes from the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
If you have a concern about bullying at Balaclava School, one way of bringing it to our attention is to send an email to our bully stoppers address. Although this is not anonymous, our Principal or Vice-Principal are the only ones who will read it and they will deal with the information that you send. Nelson Mathematics Website for student practice
All of the students at Balaclava use the Nelson Math Series. This is the website that is directly corelated to the Math textbook that your child is using. There are many useful resources on the site, but check the Try Out section that the students often use to check their skills in a particular unit. Click here to access the site.
